The Picayune's Creole Cook Book

This hand-painted sepia photo was commissioned by Random House, which picked up distribution and published the cookbook in 1989.

The beautiful type and inset was designed by Robert Aulicino.

It features Newcomb Pottery, an Art Nouveau Staffordshire Iris plate from the Sesquicentennial Edition cover, along with an antique coffee pot and a facsimile of The Picayune newspaper with beignets on a stunning Art Nouveau cupboard.
